Education

The Ellis Ensemble are passionate about educational and community music work, and thoroughly believe in the value and benefits of musical communication and interaction. Its members have worked for many different educational organisations including Live Music Now, RCM Sparks, Wigmore Hall Music for Life, Junior Trinity Laban Conservatoire, Junior Academy of Music, London Music Masters and the BBC Proms.
 
As well as teaching and music coaching, other various projects have included compositional workshops for students in schools, concerts in care homes and hospitals and performance workshops in schools which are often run alongside concerts. These aim to bring classical music to pupils in an informal and fun setting, fully encouraging participation and giving students the chance to listen and interact to live, classical music from up close.

The Ellis Ensemble are available to hire for educational work and we tailor make each workshop and project to suit specific requirements and ages.
